sectors that benefit from the increasing productivity of older adults and from innovations capable of reducing costs and improving health outcomes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He explained that advanced economies are experiencing an important change in the relationship between age and productivity.<\/p>\n<p>Older people today are remaining healthier and financially independent for longer periods than previous generations, potentially altering calculations related to dependency ratios, public expenditure, and economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>Samer Choucair added that this transformation may also affect government bond markets and long-term interest rates.<\/p>\n<p>Reduced concern about the fiscal pressures associated with aging populations could lower the risk premium on public debt in certain advanced economies, creating a more stable environment for long-term investors.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that pension funds, which rely heavily on fixed-income instruments to match future liabilities, may need to reconsider their assumptions regarding long-term returns and the balance between bonds and assets linked to growth and innovation.<\/p>\n<p>Choucair emphasized that demographic change is creating substantial investment opportunities across digital healthcare, artificial intelligence, medical technology, and financial services connected to the longevity economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe true investment opportunity does not lie solely in increased healthcare spending,\u201d Samer Choucair said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt lies in supporting companies that develop solutions enabling people to live consumers.<\/p>\n<p>Traditional care models characterized by high costs and heavy dependence on labor, by contrast, may face increasing competitive pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Samer Choucair noted that the accumulation of wealth among older age groups also creates additional opportunities for the financial-services industry, particularly through the development of asset-management and retirement products designed for longer and healthier lives.<\/p>\n<p>This trend could reshape capital flows across global financial markets.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the Saudi economy, Choucair explained that the Kingdom has a strategic opportunity to benefit from this global transformation, even though its population remains relatively young.<\/p>\n<p>Saudi Arabia can do so by developing its healthcare sector under the objectives of Vision 2030 and expanding investment in digital innovation and quality of life.<\/p>\n<p>He said the global transition toward more efficient and technology-driven healthcare models gives the Kingdom an opportunity to build advanced health infrastructure, attract international partnerships, and direct investment toward leading health-technology companies.<\/p>\n<p>Such initiatives could support knowledge transfer and strengthen domestic capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRegional sovereign wealth funds, including the Public Investment Fund, have the capacity to invest selectively in technologies addressing global healthcare challenges,\u201d Samer Choucair said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese investments can generate attractive risk-adjusted returns while helping build strategic sectors aligned with economic-diversification objectives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized that investment in the longevity economy is not merely a response to future challenges.<\/p>\n<p>It is an opportunity to develop new industries combining technology, healthcare, and financial services while creating sustainable growth opportunities for investors and governments alike.<\/p>\n<p>Choucair noted that investors will focus during the coming period on trends in actual healthcare spending across major economies, the adoption of artificial intelligence in medical services, and the participation of older adults in the labor market.<\/p>\n<p>These indicators will provide important signals regarding the future direction of the global economy.<\/p>\n<p>Concluding his remarks,
