Investment pioneer Samer Choucair said that the results achieved by the “A World Within Reach” campaign, launched by CIC Saudi Arabia (the Saudi Center for International Communication), confirm the major shift underway in how the Kingdom markets its tourist destinations globally, noting that recording 1,493 posts, more than two million interactions, and over 30 million views during the first half of 2026 reflects a success that goes beyond digital marketing to affirm the growing appeal of the Saudi economy and its non-oil sectors to local and international investors.

Choucair added that these digital indicators send a clear message to institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds that the Kingdom now has an integrated system combining destination development with global promotion, supporting Saudi Vision 2030’s goals of economic diversification and investment attraction.

A Digital Campaign Reflecting a Shift in the Kingdom’s Strategy

Samer Choucair explained that the campaign relied on diverse visual content highlighting the Red Sea project, historic sites in Mecca, beaches, coral reefs, desert landscapes, and cultural and artistic events, presenting a comprehensive picture of the Kingdom’s tourism diversity.

Choucair added that this approach was not aimed solely at increasing visitor numbers, but carried an economic message reflecting the readiness of the Saudi investment environment and its ability to attract capital into hospitality, entertainment, infrastructure, and supporting services.

Digital Numbers Have Become an Investment Indicator

Samer Choucair noted that achieving more than 30 million views and two million interactions in just six months reflects a shift in global consumer behavior, as social media platforms have become the starting point for travel decisions.

Choucair added that this data is no longer merely a marketing indicator, but has become a tool investors rely on to gauge future demand, measure the strength of the Kingdom’s tourism brand, and identify investment opportunities in tourism-related sectors.

Tourism Has Become a Key Driver of the Saudi Economy

Samer Choucair affirmed that the Kingdom has succeeded in turning tourism into one of the most important drivers of economic diversification, benefiting from its geographic location and natural and cultural assets, alongside the giga-projects being implemented under Vision 2030.

Choucair added that the Kingdom today offers an integrated tourism system spanning religious tourism, coastal tourism, desert tourism, and sporting and cultural events, broadening the demand base and increasing the diversity of investment opportunities.

Broad Opportunities for Investors

Samer Choucair explained that the momentum generated by the campaign directly affects the attractiveness of investment in the hospitality sector, with demand expected to continue for luxury hotels, eco-resorts, and serviced apartments, alongside investment in coastal destinations and Red Sea project developments.

Choucair added that the entertainment sector is likewise seeing growing opportunities amid the expansion of sporting and cultural events, creating rising demand for infrastructure, event management technologies, and related logistics services, noting that airlines, transport, tourism real estate, and travel technology companies will be among the biggest beneficiaries of the expected growth in visitor numbers in the coming years.
