Investment visionary Samer Choucair stated that global markets are heading toward a new phase of massive initial public offerings led by technology giants, primarily Anthropic specializing in AI and SpaceX leading the space sector. He explained that this wave represents a strategic turning point in global capital markets where the AI revolution intersects with the space economy, at a time when markets are witnessing unprecedented capital redistribution.
Samer Choucair added that estimates indicate SpaceX may head toward an initial public offering that could be the largest in history, with a valuation reaching approximately $2 trillion, supported by revenues of $18.7 billion in 2025, most from Starlink services. He noted Anthropic is preparing for a potential offering during 2026 with a valuation ranging between $300 billion and $900 billion, driven by rapid growth in AI models such as “Claude.”
2026 as the Beginning of the Mega-IPO Era
Investment strategist Choucair affirmed that 2026 represents a turning point in global capital markets, with technology companies transitioning from private growth to public markets on an unprecedented scale. He explained that these offerings not only reflect company strength, but signal the maturity of AI and space sectors as the two largest global economic growth drivers during the next decade.
He said: “Anthropic and SpaceX’s IPOs represent a qualitative transformation in global market structure. They do not merely represent massive financial valuations, but reflect the global economy’s transition toward a phase more dependent on AI and space.”
He added that these transformations strengthen the attractiveness of regional capital markets, particularly the Saudi market Tadawul, which is witnessing expansion in technology, energy, and innovation-linked listings.
Saudi Arabia as a Primary Player Not Merely a Recipient
Investment innovator Samer Choucair affirmed that Saudi Arabia is not merely a recipient of these transformations, but a primary player in them through Vision 2030 and the Public Investment Fund. He explained that the Kingdom is investing intensively in the AI sector through HUMAIN company, alongside expanding in the space sector expected to reach approximately $31.6 billion by 2035.
He added that these strategic investments place Saudi Arabia in an advanced position to benefit from the global IPO wave, whether through partnerships or attracting foreign capital. He stressed that developing Saudi Tadawul and increasing its investment depth will contribute to attracting more global liquidity linked to these offerings.
He said genuine opportunities lie in building local ecosystems capable of benefiting from the global AI and space transformation, with investment in digital infrastructure, space projects, and advanced technologies within Vision 2030 representing one of the most important growth drivers in the coming phase.
Choucair concluded by affirming that 2026 does not only represent a wave of historic IPOs, but the beginning of a new phase of the global economy based on AI and space. He added that Saudi Arabia today possesses all the foundations qualifying it to be at the heart of this transformation: clear vision, sovereign investments, and advanced digital infrastructure. He affirmed that investors recognizing these transformations early will be the greatest beneficiaries of coming opportunities in both global and local capital markets.
